Sharks/Leafs talking trade for Nabokov? Kaberle to Boston?

Just chasing some rumours down this afternoon. With the draft just five or so days away, things are bound to intensify, and it looks like today we saw what could be the first step of waves as it relates to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Someone passed along to me today that Darren Dreger, NHL on TSN insider, said that the Leafs and Sharks were talking trade, and that San Jose would be willing to send goaltender Evgeni Nabokov to Toronto in order to free up salary space. After speaking with Dreger, it turns out he was merely speculation on such a move. The following is an excerpt from an email conversation Darren and I had earlier.
None. I said if SJ was interested in dumping salary there might be a fit.
As of right now there has been some rumblings that the Sharks are looking to clear some space, and shake things up. Still, the consensus is that it seems unlikely Nabokov would be dealt.
Also hearing from a few sources today that the Leafs and Bruins may re-open trade talks revolving around Tomas Kaberle.
At last year’s trade deadline, there were rumours that Boston and Toronto were in discussions to move Kaberle, who of course had a no trade clause he chose not to waive.
With his no trade clause moot due to the fact the Leafs missed the playoffs, Burke will no question have a lot of callers in hopes of landing the services of Tomas Kaberle.
One strong rumour out there right now would see the Leafs send Kaberle to Boston in exchange for Phil Kessel, prospect Joe Colborne, and Boston’s first round pick in the upcoming draft.
It’s all just speculation at this point, but it should intensify as we get closer to Friday night.
Pure speculation.
